Message: R Lazy S is truly one of the finest dude ranches in America. Wonderfully caring staff, cabins are clean and super comfy, food is first class, horses and wranglers are one of a kind and the ranch’s location is literally second to none. Kudos to the Stirn family’s absolute commitment that all guests enjoy the week of a lifetime!

Message: We just spent our fifth week at the R Lazy S.. and, as always, had an amazing time. The cabins are comfortable, cozy and well-appointed (down to the candy jar in every one). And Kelly and Nancy asked us daily if there was anything we needed. No, it was all there. We have always come the same week and it was great to reconnect with most of our fellow guests, the owners and most of the staff. (Guests and staff return year after year. ) We also know the routine and were instantly in "vacation mode" and relaxing. As always, the food was delicious, the riding was wonderful and the owners and staff made our stay pleasant and comfortable. (We're planning to be back for Year Number 6! ).

Message: I was there Aug 2021 as a romantic escape with my boyfriend who has taken his family there many times over a dozen years. He raved about the ranch. It lived up to his raving. I can’t imagine a better week. Extraordinarily loyal patrons who come back year after year to enjoy the peaceful setting, views, and quiet. Good food, attentive friendly staff, and talented wranglers who manage well cared for horses. A true, low key, relaxing place to chill. The families with kids seemed to especially enjoy the kids activities. Not super upscale, not resortlike not touristy. Thank god. More like a place to feel zen with a nice setting and good folks who value the place they are lucky enough to live and are willing to share it with the chosen few who get to come there. Horse rides daily through the Tetons and surrounding forests. Bring your riding jeans to wear (and riding garb- hat, boots, denim)- thats all you'll need for a week at the ranch. People return to R lazy S from all over the world.

Message: The owner, 1968, is/was aterrific, gentle, hardworking caring man. I was a teenager on a church trip of about 30 kids. The meals were delicious, the activities, great, and the cabins look out to the Grand Tetons. The place was almost heaven, Wyoming!
